My research lies at the intersection of policy analysis, social epidemiology, and population health, with a focus on understanding how social and structural determinants, such as social vulnerability and public policy, shape health disparities. My recent work examines the social determinants of multiple dimensions of sleep health, the role of sleep in chronic disease, and sleep as a modifiable pathway through which social disadvantage influences health outcomes. Methodologically, I specialize in quantitative analysis of large, complex population-based datasets, integrating longitudinal cohort studies, administrative records, biomarker, survey, and geospatial data.
